Greetings friends! Wonderful weekend we have! I come bearing presents…
First I want to say what an absolute honor it is that I have so many people following this site. As of tonight, Meeko Tales has 80 subscribers to the blog. Simply WOW. I never anticipated for this site to grow like that and I am so very happy that everyone is enjoying my stories.
With that said, for those of you that pop in and visit the site regularly to check for updates, you may have noticed that Something Bad was updated last week with a new chapter. I didn’t send out an email announcing it as I was hoping to have another story or two to add in with it.
During the delay, as I’ve been focusing on trying to update either Whispers in Shadows or Revenge…I also released a chapter to the original story Mullen’s Creek, for those that may be interested.
Many of you know that these vampire stories have taken a backseat for quite some time while Buggy and I were working on Gambling Hearts and later Raising the Stakes, which is still a work in progress, but on hold as muses have lead us astray. We do periodically visit that story to chip at it but we will be definitely jumping back into that full steam at some point in the future. We do have a lot of details planned out for that one and a third installment for the series.
So what vampy story have I updated? I’m not telling you quite yet…
First I want to pimp out Buggy. She recently completed her first, full length, solo story. Topping off at over 90k in words, this massive endeavor was a feat in its own for her and she accomplished it with so much success that there is great demand for a sequel – which has begun the writing stages.
I really encourage readers to check out her story, Sanctuaire. It’s Bella/Kol (witchy!Kol), Twilight/The Originals (season 2 roughly). I helped some with linking the two fandoms together with character histories, details you may be surprised to notice in overlap if you read. It is a great adventure for anyone that wants to read about a strong Bella, wanting to stand on her own.
On a side note to Sanctuaire, one of Buggy’s reviewer’s requested that she write a Teen Wolf crossover. Now, I’ve never watched the show but I’ve been following along since she started writing this new project and I must say, it is FANTASTIC. Also check out Missed Connections while you’re at it. You won’t be disappointed!

Yes… Revenge!!! And Damon has officially arrived in Forks. That is all I am telling you now. If you want to know more, then you will have to click on the picture banner (created by the wonderful Mist from BetterInTexas group) to go to the story chapter.
