Buggy started a spreadsheet to schedule blog writing attempts and topics to try to keep up. She shared it with me and I’m doing my best to adhere to it as much as I can. She also shared on her page an invite for anyone to participate with us as well if you are trying to be more active in writing again.
The schedule has us set for a 2 week update on the progress with the Dreamwidth Snowflake Challenge. I am trying to merge these challenges of 3 or more into a single entry so as to not spam my friends that subscribe to me as much as possible. We are 6 challenges in and I believe I’m doing good. A couple of the topics had me scratching my head and going to Buggy to get feedback on what she might have chosen but – she was just as ‘whuttt’. Topic number 6 had to do with canon in our chosen areas and the thing is, Buggy and I avoid canon as much as possible. Beyond that, I look forward to the next challenges to be announced.
In the past Buggy and I hosted a writing challenge group for het writers. I miss those big bang challenges. I actually was looking at some of our old stories as I’m working on easing back into fic writing. Just feeling a little nostalgic here. Moving on.
My question to y’all is what else would you like to see here on my page (aside from writings)? Recipes? Photo journals of weekends spent? Pokémon Go stuff (hubby and I play on weekends)? Give me ideas to build on the page.
I have added another chat feature for anyone who wishes to share a few words with me and it goes directly to my phone. This option is available to visitors who chooses not to join us in the discord server I made for the site. I have noticed we have getting more visitors lately and I’m excited to see that! I just hope it’s not all bots…boo.
As far as the commenting situation that we’ve been experiencing – if you receive a Nonce error, Buggy had said she logs out of WordPress. If you do experience this and wish to leave comments, please reach out to me direct, either by chat widget, contact form, or discord, and I can create a site based account for you with a temp password that you can change once you login. It’s the only workaround I can do at this point.
