spoilerwarning
This week was a number of fall finales that were a range of awesome to mild expectations. Then there was one that was a giant mind explosion of WTF that will forever traumatize me and be included in the few episodes that I can never, ever, watch again for it was so emotionally heartwretching that I can’t handle it. I can’t even listen to it’s audio over Skype while Buggy watches for research purposes.

So as you can expect, this post carries spoilers. Read at your own risk because right now, I’m still trying to come around with everything that happened.

Let’s start with Monday night. The Originals. It was a great send off for the fall with Hayley and Klaus being reunited with Hope. I am totally Team Klaus in this series in every way and am so ridiculously happy that he managed to come out slightly ahead of his mother (though it was a shitty deal for Rebecca) in the way they had. Such a Klaus way to end the episode. I was very much smiling at the end regardless. It was very nice to see Kol, the real Kol in the series too. Not just the webseries. I hope they bring him back as a regular after this. Nate is too hot not to have as regular. Still, my ratings for The Originals are as follows:

Cliffhanger: 8/10
Kickass: 10/10
Hotness: 10/10
Mindblown: 3/10 (for Rebecca’s sneaky scheme to turn Esther)

Tuesday night, I missed The Flash and ended up watching it On Demand Wednesday right before Arrow. I’ll get back to that in a bit. Let’s move onto Thurday night with The Vampire Diaries. Damon was teasingly hot. As always. I could do without any bit of the whole Damon/Elena crap. The staring stuff she was doing? What the hell was that? I wanted to slap the living shit out of her. Ugh. Bonnie – I wanted to jump into 1994 and hug the shit out of her and cry at her side. When the fuck is she coming home? Best part of the episode that had me cheering? The fucking end. When Kai knocked the shit out of Elena with the car tool (can’t remember the name of it).

Cliffhanger: 6/10 (I only loved the ending because Elena got the piss knocked out of her)
Kickass: 6/10
Hotness: 7/10 (All for Damon)
Mindblown: 3/10 (Typical TVD episode, but hey! They can go home now.)

Let’s return to Tuesday’s The Flash that I watched on Wednesday. My general commentary throughout the episode to Buggy as I watched it was how much of a pussy Barry was being about telling Iris his feelings, especially when she confronts him about it. Lying to her I didn’t agree with. While Eddie instills the thought in her head and she knows how he feels by the end, as he finally grew a pair of balls and admitted it, she is conflicted and saw that he is still sucking it up and pretending it’s nothing in front of Eddie by saying he was happy for them. Firestorm. I need MORE. And fucking Wells. What the fuck is his game? What is his obsession with Barry? That’s annoying the fuck out of me. Fucking writers.

Cliffhanger: 7/10 (Give me Firestorm!)
Kickass: 7/10
Hotness: 3/10 (Not enough Robbie Amell, sorry!)
Mindblown: 7/10 (Was pretty much mindfucked by Barry’s lack of balls by the end…)

Arrow. *sighs* This episode falls into one of the few that after watching it, I will never watch it again. I can’t even bear to listen to the audio. I was so traumatized by the end scene that I just can’t think, and this is four days later. I could have done without the little Olicity bits. Everyone that reads my site needs to know I am not an Olicity shipper. I love them as friends, but I cannot see them romantically. So when it got the scene of him in the 12 hour window and him saying his goodbyes, I wanted to throw something at the television. At this point, I’m ready to ship her with Ray if he is truly a good guy just to get rid of the Olicity crap. But getting back on track, I’m at odds with Malcolm and Thea. Thea got the short stick but she isn’t all that innocent either. However, Malcolm was certainly using her to clear his own record with his former employer which was fucked up. Way to win Father of the Year douchebag. Send Ollie out to clean up your mess knowing he’ll do anything to save her. Fucktard. Okay, so he fights Ra’s al Guhl or however it’s spelt and that was sooo not an honorable fight as much as they freaking claim. Oliver did not give his best fight, and it makes me wonder, after lots of discussion and crying with Buggy, if he didn’t fuck it up on purpose. Still, it didn’t blow my mind like Stephen Amell has been warning fans on his facebook page. My mind fucking EXPLODED. I was done by the end. I couldn’t think. I sat there in complete, stunned, silence not sure what the hell happened when he was pushed off the mountain, presumed dead.

I was so traumatized that this episode officially became one of the few that I am emotionally unable to watch again. Two other episodes that are included in this category are from Stargate Atlantis. Season 2’s Sunday (Carson Beckett dies) and Season 5’s Vegas (alternate John Sheppard dies). I have severe issues when my favorite characters are killed traumatically. Fanfic is the same. Buggy wrote me a beautifully tragic fic where John Sheppard dies at the end but as much as I recommend it, I cannot read it after the first time. I remember it very clearly even after all this time that I don’t need to.

Now I wasn’t the only one having issues with the end scene in the episode. Stephen Amell’s mother was having issues too and he even shared messages he received from her on facebook!

Cliffhanger: 10/10 (Give me Firestorm!)
Kickass: 9/10 (For the Olicity moment. Had to deduct.)
Hotness: 10/10 (Half naked Ollie? Of course!)
Mindblown: 10/10 (I’d give more if I could. I was fucking mind-explosion!)

Moving on…Sticking with Arrow, I have a couple story updates! Both for Arrow/Twilight though. Sorry my TVD/Twilight lovers. My vampy muses are quiet at the moment but I’m hopeful they start singing once Arrow gets tired out. Anyhow, we updated Raising the Stakes with Chapter 3. It’s a pretty gruesome chapter but totally fun to write. The, um, bloodiness…you can blame Buggy for. All have to say, is that she has a thing for wastebaskets. I think it’s going to become a thing somehow. Clicky on the story banner to go to the chapter.

boondoggle01Buggy and I had been inspired by the crossover between The Flash and Arrow as mentioned in my last blog post. We have decided to work into the story the fall finale of Arrow, The Climb. We have actually finished Chapter 7 of that focusing on that episode but we have just posted Chapter 2 today. I also created the new graphic for it so the pretty is featured below. Click it to go to the new chapter. Boondoggle is such a wild story that it’s a giant adventure in each chapter. You never know what is going to thrown at them next. Enjoy!
