Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone had a less dramatic Christmas than I did. While I didn’t have any major wants for presents (my family was greatly frustrated in shopping for me because I didn’t know what to tell them other than a new pair of headphones since my old earbuds broke and I had since replaced), but I still did okay and was happy. I received a nice bluetooth set from my uncle that I’m enjoying very much, especially in bed to be able to move around and relax without getting tangled in cords. I also got a Grinch onesie style pajama set from my grandmother which even has a hoodie on it with the feathery hair.

The drama that I experienced was a bit more something that I might need my very own call to Sam and Dean Winchester for. Last night we had a major scare at the house. It sounded literally like someone was banging on the front door, like my first thought was what neighbor did we piss off? That kind of banging. I saw the storm door opened through the window at the top of the door during it and then close when it finished, seemingly like whoever was there was stepping back so that we could come to the door. I opened the door LITERALLY right away, in time to see the wreath we had on the door finish landing on the walk way to the front steps and absolutely no one in sight. I opened the door to look if anyone was running off but the entire street is dead. Only a light breeze that’s not even strong enough to throw the storm door open but wouldn’t explain the banging on the door that was quite literally a BANG BANG BANG heavy knocking. It sounded like a *fist* on the door.

Now, of all the supernatural and paranormal shows out there, I prefer Supernatural, Paranormal Witness, Ghost Adventures, and The Dead Files. The latter 3 seem to hold more evidence and truth in the stories that I like those shows more than ones like Ghost Hunters (TAPS) where there’s been videos released of them playing through ‘evps’ to find the right sound for a scene making everything phoney and staged.

Regardless…I’m freaking trying not to think about it much but even my uncle is like… ‘We got ghosts…’ He doesn’t know what to make of it either and he isn’t one that scares easily and tends to rationalize everything first. I can’t help but point the finger at my grandmother because of her unstable emotions and constant depressive state that is creating something that is trying to get inside the house instead of being inside already. Either that or the former Catholic school that they tore down around the corner over the last week or two is stirring up some drama in the neighborhood. Here’s to ringing in 2015 with the burning of sage around the house!

Anyhow…Let’s get into why you all really follow my blog. The fanfiction. Two stories were updated recently. Boondoggle and Raising the Stakes. Visit the appropriate story banners below to be taken to the new chapters.

Now let’s get onto the news for the Vampire Diaries fans of mine. *Sighs* Revenge… I am still working on this, yes. However, it is sort of on hold for the moment only because – you all are going to hate me – I lost my notebook with the notes for the story. I have no clue what is supposed to happen as it was entirely plotted out by hand. I am looking for the book as I know it’s in my room somewhere but since it looks like a tornado blew through it, it’s going to take time because I am also having to deal with family issues of my mother moving into the house over the next week. [sarcasm] There may be a chance of my being arrested for attempted murder before she finds a new apartment… [/sarcasm]

I received a PM, or few, back to back, from the same user, leaving me with the feeling of them demanding to know when I intend to update Dark Horse. Initially it got me incredibly offended and really angry because between working on other stories, working, and dealing with real life, I clearly indicated in the very beginning of that story, that while it is considered active for me, it is not one of my priority updates. It’ll get updated, when I update it and I am sorry if that upsets people. I have been working on the next chapter of the story and I truly had hoped to have it out for Christmas because I know it has garnished a lot of interest, however it simply was not meant to be by the muses. It may be updated in the next week. It may not be for three weeks.  I cannot promise anything when there is so much going on in my life right now.

The other stories such as Whispers in Shadows, Something to Hope For, and Sorry I’m Late are all also being worked on slowly. Because of the blast of muse that struck Buggy and I for the Arrow/Twilight universe of ours, I’m afraid it’s burned me out a bit on writing and that may be why the muses aren’t with me right now. Frankly, I am hoping to get through the bit that we have planned for Boondoggle before the return of Arrow in January to get it posted that way we can just take a break and chill. I have several books on my Kindle that I just want to sit back and read when I get home from work and not have to walk in and be thinking, Damn, I need to write more tonight…I’m so behind! It’s bad enough I’m fighting off new story ideas just so that I can focus on these now.

All I can do is promise that all these stories are not abandoned. They will take time. Have patience and perhaps your story will be return for the next word blast of inspiration!
