I’ve been rather on the quiet side recently. Other than completing Taigai Ridatsu, I’d been planning the sequel for that and trying to figure out where to go for Something Bad, which I really want to get done next for my solo ventures.
However, over on Facebook, friends Mara and Cornelia absolutely were insistent about Buggy and I returning to our Arrow/Twilight crossover universe. Keeping in mind, we hadn’t touched on that since 2016, when we either got distracted with real life, solo projects, or disillusioned by the forced overload of Olicity shoved down our throats on the show. Now and then, I would bring up the desire to return to finish Raising the Stakes, the sequel to Gambling Hearts, to Buggy, but she wasn’t interested at the time when I had a muse for it. When our friends both hit us up, pushing us to revisit the stories, I was more than happy to. I had begun to reread them as I often do for nostalgia because it really is a fun universe we created and Buggy was like, hmm, let me read and see how I feel.
Lo and behold, we found we were sitting on a complete chapter (and a whollop of one it was!) and a nearly complete one that actually was enough to finish off the story! The muse is strong and while it’s with us, we are pressing forward with the third installment of the intended trilogy and hoping to finish it while we have the momentum.
