My only day off from work this busy week and it’s been productive online. I made progress on a couple stories that haven’t been updated in awhile. Yay! So where to begin…
Let’s start with Twilight. No crossover here. Just Twilight. Shocking, I know. It’s a Jasper/Bella story I had posted to FFnet awhile back but kinda fell to the wayside when I got onto The Vampire Diaries bandwagon. I finally got the story added to the website here so if anyone wants to go catch up on it, I would recommend to do so because I anticipate an update on it soon. Chapter 09 is being worked on currently and depending on how overwhelmingly busy it is at work, I hope to get more done there (yay iPad!) or when I get home. Again, depends on how I feel. I have full days the next 3 days so it’s difficult for any real time at the computer to do more than simply upload. I’m utterly grateful for my wonderful, beautiful beta that does much of her work right alongside me as I write, correcting my mistakes as I make them. She deserves a giant cheesecake. If only the USPS would deliver…
NOTE: While I was writing this blog post, I made a huge oops. I had the doc open for the newest chapter of I Want It All and somehow accidentally the contents got deleted so now I have to rewrite it all. While it wasn’t much, it was enough to be close enough to a complete chapter for this particular story standard. Just goes to tell you what kind of day I’m having. *sadface*
NOTE 2: My lovely and wonderful lifesaver beta managed to find where to recover the chapter! I definitely need to find out how the hell to send her a freaking cheesecake now!
Another story that has been long awaiting an update was Sorry, I’m Late. That was updated both on FFnet and here on MeekoTales. Things are starting to get pretty interesting there. Someone has some ‘splaining to do!
I’ll give you a brief run down on what’s going on where…
Gambling Hearts: The story is finished in writing. Two more chapters just need to be posted. Any questions asked in reviews in the remaining chapters will be answered in the final chapter on FFnet.
Raising the Stakes: Still being written. Don’t ask about it. You’re not getting any information. Get over it!
Whispers in Shadows: Will be starting on the next chapter soon. I want to get an update on another story or two that’s been neglected out of the way first since it has been updated fairly recently.
Something to Hope For: One of the top stories anticipated for updating.
Pu’uwai Series, Ohana: Chapter is in progress. Not sure when it will be posted yet. Blame the muses.
Dark Horse: Yeah…don’t bother asking. Stefan is being a little bitch to me and I can’t get over the scene right now that’s started for Chapter 3.
Mullen’s Creek: I may post one or two more chapters before that goes back on hold because I don’t have many left for reserve. I want to complete some of these other stories so that I can actually write on that one again. Way, way, way too many works in progress going on.
It’s not up on FFnet yet. Probably won’t be until sometime next week, but Chapter 2, titled Subterfuge, of Revenge I, is available for reading & wordpress reviews here on MeekoTales! Chapter 3 will likely start being written sometime – whenever. At this point after the minor heart attack I just suffered with I Want It All fiasco (see above notes related to the story), I am calling it a night.
