I am sorry for spamming everyone today. Between my plagiarism post, which was a very serious topic of course, and my story update entry, this is the third one that you are getting. I wasn’t planning on writing another entry tonight but I am just too happy that I can’t not share my happiness.
My online bestie and NCIS/SGA fandom sister, Buggy, is in the process of slowly returning to the world of writing. Earlier this year, the Stargate fandom lost a very prominent fan and the loss had affected many people in different ways. While I haven’t stopped writing, I am still saddened at times and I haven’t removed this person from my AIM and Facebook friends lists and she will continue to remain there. For my bestie, she had lost her inspiration to write fanfiction.
Recently she had gotten bit by a tiny writing bug but she is still feeling a bit off about it, and to ease back into writing, we are looking to work on our original story/series, Port Jackson. We are looking to eventually continuing our other crossover works in progress stories as displayed on my ‘In The Works’ page.
So, stay tuned for collaborations from Meeko & Buggy as when we were in our prime of writing, we easily put out nearly 100,000 words inside two months.
On a side note, I have a chat feature installed on the site allowing visitors to instant message me when I am on the computer and to chat with other visitors online in a MeekoTales chatroom. Feel free to leave positive vibes when I’m online and around as I could always use the energy when working on chapters, much as I am tonight with Whispers in Shadows (Ch.8).
