Greetings my favorite minions
It has been so very long since I’ve updated – well, anything. A lot has happened since my last post, which was all the way back on September 11, 2021. Let’s kick off with the first reason why I had stopped writing. School. That is now on hold. As my employer at the time was the one paying for school, it was the priority, however now that I do not work for that company any longer, I cannot afford it. On the bright side of that fiasco, my new job does allow me a great deal more desk time where it has caused the itch to return. I want to write. I just don’t know how to get going again. Here is a link for a Google Forms for some prompt suggestions. After all, that is how I got into writing in the first place back on LiveJournal.
What else is going on? Well – I moved. Like, really moved. Like halfway across the country moved. I am now living in Texas with – my husband. Yes, I got married not long after my last update. We had a short ceremony in a little chapel in Las Vegas – not one of those gaudy ones and certainly no Elvis impersonator before anyone asks. We spent some time in California with his friends and then back in NJ to get ourselves together and practically run from there with our lives. To say the situation there was toxic is an understatement and I do not think I will ever truly be over the narcissistic abuse I didn’t even realize I was enduring by my family. I was not healthy, and while I’m not in top form now, I certainly am much better overall and off so many of the medications I had been on previously.
I do apologize to all my followers for not being more proactive in my communications. Some have messaged me through my chat widget, but I had fallen into such a tunnel, that I couldn’t even go onto my website to update it in any way. I have a lot of projects in mind to become more active on social media now that I work from home. One is working on a YouTube channel, but I’m not quite sure what to do with it yet. My husband and I do want to make a quiz channel as we are big fans of quizzes. He prefers picture quizzes more, but I like all of them. If there is anyone that knows more about video editing, I can definitely use the guidance.
