I wanted to drop an update to you this weekend. This post is covering a few topics. I know over the past few months, I’ve been fairly consistent with writing and updating. I feel the need to let my dedicated followers know that as of this weekend, through March, at the very least, updates will be fewer and farther between.
This reason being is that I’m starting a college class online. While it is only one class, it is math. I hate math. I did take the class last year and unfortunately failed it. By the time I finally got the hang of the work, the class was about finished and there was not enough time to try to catch up for a passing grade. So, as I am paying out of pocket for the credits, my primary focus will need to go to passing. Mind you, this is coming from someone that works in a pharmacy and deals with math frequently on the job. That kind of math I can handle. Algebra plainly sucks ass. So yeah, sixteen glorious weeks of online math.
This does not mean that I won’t be writing at all. It just means that it has taken the backseat. I have two new stories out now. One solo, and one with Buggy. I believe I already posted about the new solo project. If not, then here is another announcement.
Back in October, I participated in Bertie Bott’s Halloween contest with two stories. Neon Light is a new multichapter adventure, pairing Elijah Mikaelson and Bella Swan. It is AU in respect to Twilight timeline events, as she is aware of the Quilete pack before the events of her 18th birthday. It is slightly AU for The Originals, as Bella is being written in to factor her presence and mess with certain characters’ activities to coincide with the overall plot of the story.

Summary: After the events of her eighteenth birthday, the Cullens cruelly devised a plan to sequester Bella away in a magically sealed asylum far away in Louisiana. There, she learns more about the supernatural world, when a year later, two new admissions include her in their escape. As the Mikaelsons agree to take the intriguing Bella under their protection, new emotions begin to rise among them and she exhibits unusual abilities of her own. She is not a witch that they have ever encountered, nor does she quite display the traits of a vampire for what she’d been able to do. What is she? And why does she suddenly begin to receive these new gifts now?
The next new story that we started posting this week the MeekoBuggy FanFiction.net account, is Blood Bath. This is a Person of Interest and The Originals crossover story. As we had done with our Arrow/Twilight crossover series, Buggy and I are the first to post a story crossing these particular fandoms on FFnet.
For those not familiar with POI, it is a drama on CBS about the government using an artificial intelligent computer system that uses telephone systems and security cameras, basically anything on the grid, to spy on its citizens for potential terroristic threats. The ‘Team’ of the show, while the government had been handling the ‘relevant’ threats (terrorists), they set out to help the classified ‘non-relevant’ ones. The every day crimes that the computer is forced to ignore in favor of the government’s agendas. Crimes such a murders, kidnappings, robberies, etc.
In this story, it takes place prior to the current season of 5, when the character Sameen Shaw was taken hostage at the end of the previous season. Some of the AU of POI is that we are making Sam a vampire, to explain much of her canon strengths and personality. Further details will be revealed within the story if you stick around and give it a shot. I really hope that you do, because Sameen is such a great character and such an interesting match for Klaus.

Summary: Klaus is a man of many secrets, but only one that he kept far away, even from the family he once trusted. At the first chance he had to return, he finds that his agreement to leave might not all have been for the best. Daring rescues, and modern technology challenging his own way of life, two conflicted creatures of the night come to terms of their relationship and learn that sometimes, secrets are bathed in blood.
Now that is all said and announced…Let me fill you in on the status of the other stories…
Taigai Ridatsu: Chapter 17 document is created and while little has been added, the wolfie muse is rather quiet at the moment. That’s not to say that when I have an idea, even just for a paragraph or two, that I don’t go in and add to it. As for an update, not likely until after the New Year.
Whispers in Shadows: Chapter 11 is in progress. Being that it is vampire related, my muses pipe up more often on this as the Mikaelsons are just entering the story more. As the sexy brother duo is heavy in my head, while the story is classified on hold, there may be an update on the horizon. Possibly by New Years. No guarantees however.
Dark Horse: I honestly haven’t worked on this in the last couple weeks. I don’t anticipate any progress until after the New Year.
Broken Road & I Want It All: On Hold until the Mikaelson muse shuts the hell up.
Revenge: On Hold. Again, like Taigai and Whispers, I chip at it when ideas strike.
Something Bad: On Hold until I am able to focus more singularly on it. This story’s details are far more intricate than the others as it is one of my more particular works that I am nitpicky about.
Sorry I’m Late: On Hold. I’m actually having trouble with the next chapter as there are certain events to occur that I have creative issues with in my head.
NOTE: Despite the stories being on hold or not ancipating an update, that does not mean I don’t check on them or pick at them by adding small bits. All my stories are saved online through Google Docs so that I can jump on through my phone or iPad while at work during down time or breaks.
With that…I’m going to go back to plotting out the Naughty New Year with Buggy as much of our plans centers around prostitutes and brothels.
