Yesterday was a semi-productive day. Buggy and I got more work done for the sequel to Gambling Hearts, which I’m excited for. Compared to Gambling Hearts, Bella and Oliver are more comfortable and confident in their relationship. This is giving us more opportunities to play with them in ways that we couldn’t do in the first story. The only detail I can truly tease on it without giving anything away or throw the Easter Egg hunt off, is that the Cullens certainly will have a larger presence.
BTW, we are still the only Arrow/Twilight crossover on FFnet! Whoot Whoot!!
If anyone is reading Gambling Hearts from the site here, they may have found a yummy present for them. I created new navigation images to flip through the chapters. Though it may be difficult to actually move onto the next chapter with the images chosen. So not sorry!
I don’t know if anyone has visited the site last night or not. I was rather busy for awhile with adding one of my old multi-chapter crossover series to the menu. The Pu’uwai Series, meaning ‘heart’ in Hawaiian, is my Hawaii Five-0/NCIS crossover that pairs Steve McGarrett and Ziva David together. In this little universe, they have some history pre-series on both shows and are reunited, rekindling some obvious sexual tensions.
God that man is gorgeous…Anyways, the first two stories in the series are up in their entirity. The first being Reminiscent, followed by Puakenikeni. The third installment, Ohana, is currently being worked on. I am considering going back and rewriting the first two if I ever catch up on my writing with everything else I have in progress. These were started back in 2011 and if you compare them to what I have been writing now, you can clearly see just how much I’ve grown as a writer.
I fell out of Ohana last season for a few reasons. One, Ziva (Cote de Pablo) left the cast of NCIS so I really haven’t been able to get into the show as much anymore. Nothing against the new actress but I just don’t connect with her. On the H50 side, the writers had added Catherine to the cast full time and made the relationship between her and Steve official and messed with my head. I don’t care for her character at all. In fact, I hate Catherine. Maybe I will kill her off in Ohana… But anyway, I heard about the season finale from last year and forced myself to watch the episodes with her in it. I’ve been watching the new season and I have a lot of hope. I was so excited to see they had replaced her in the opening credits which has sparked renewed interest in continuing the story. Which I have begun on Chapter 9…Now, my problem is writing a moody, pregnant, former assassin…
And… Damon is still in the corner pouting. I have three days off this week from work and hopefully the Arrow muse will calm down enough that I may be able to post an update for at least one of the stories…Maybe…
