So… I’ve been rather quiet for awhile. I put the blame on winter blues, but I just haven’t had an easy time at home to get into the mindset of writing. I’m getting out of that funk slowly but surely and am easing back in. With that, there are a couple of topics I’d like to share in this return post.
First, when I came on my WordPress today, I did a great purge of registrations that flagged as bots. I removed over 100 accounts. If I accidently removed yours, I apologize, but if the email domain looked suspicious, it was gone. I have also removed the option to register from the site. I’m not sorry if it inconveniences you, but I need to protect the site so that nothing happens to my work so that I can continue to share it with you. You may still leave comments and such if your account remains or you have a global wordpress account. Sorry, not sorry. Spam and viruses not welcome here.
Second, I’ve received messages on my website chat that I’ve not been able to respond to since I haven’t been on the computer. I attempted to reply today to a number of them via email. I hope to be more active with that as I have the chat integrated with my mesenger and on my phone.
Third. Stop asking when I’m updating something. Continuously asking won’t make me produce any faster. If anything, it annoys me to the point that I will purposely avoid the asked for project. What am I working on now? I am focusing on solely Whispers in Shadows. Why? Because that is where my muse is heaviest, and it’s progressed so far into the story that I really would like to finish it this year considering how long ago I actually started it! So, nothing is happening on Neon Light or Dark Horse, or Taigai for the forseeable future. When I return to those, I will let my followers know. Again, sorry, not sorry.
Do I have an update for you? Yes I do. Here is Chapter 14 of Whispers in Shadows. I am almost done with Chapter 15. Now I am going to go feed the monsters downstairs and return to my writing.
