Just dropping by with a quick update…It’s not much but if you follow Buggy and my crossover series for Arrow/Twilight universe that began with Gambling Hearts, then you should be pleasantly surprised to learn that we are actively working on the series again! The sequel, Raising the Stakes continues on with Oliver and Bella’s story, the aftermath of the events and evolution of discoveries revealed. Chapter 05, titled, It’s On Tonight was posted and I anticipate Chapter 06 to go up soon…hopefully. We are currently working on Chapter 09 as I write this blog post. The Arrow muses struck us both hard and well… In one day we managed to write three chapters. Well one of those chapters was half written using previously discarded material that was edited for use. But yeah…busy busy writing day. Click the pictures to each story to go to the chapter listing to begin reading!
There are so many insides written into the Gambling series. I won’t give you all the privy details to but I will explain some of them so you can understand them and why when you come across for why you might not get when see something. There are comic references to DC and Marvel, but we used a special pairing reference for a friend. It’s not revealed until Chapter 07 of Raising the Stakes. Another inside is the use of other fandom characters and ‘original’ characters that were unintentionally written in. It was a joke then we made them paired up, and well, it’s whatever. They are hot and it’s our story. We also are giving our friends who hold special interest in this series ‘characters’ that you may not see for some time but if you don’t like that, again, it’s our story. We will make it work in our way. You won’t know how, but you can wait and read, then decide. It’s all about surprise and love.
I am also working on Something Bad, at the persistence of a dear lovely friend. Chapter 04 isn’t near completion yet, but it’s on it’s way. I must say the current scene I’m working on had me tearing up a little. But the fun is going to start building up with Bella as she stirs up her own personal brand of trouble. I’m also working on Revenge. I know people are looking for updates on these stories, but with life and other muses distracting me, it’s a slow process.
I’ve been struggling with working on Something to Hope For and Sorry I’m Late. I’ve dedicated a great deal of time focused entirely on those stories over the last two weeks since Camp NaNoWriMo ended and while I have added something to both stories, it wasn’t much. I’m close to asking for suggestions from readers. Not quite there yet.
