Greetings my dedicated readers. Firstly, I want to apologize for my absence. Other than my new story in Broken Road, I haven’t been writing much. That one happened to have been started on a fluke. I’ve been ill the previous few weeks with a cold from hell and it’s been dragging my energy down that by the time I get home from work… Well, even my uncle commented the other night during the dog walk saying that when I don’t feel well, I become a hermit. I basically disappear into my room, crawling into bed and don’t come out. At the worst of it, my blood pressure was fluctuating and I could barely stay upright because it would drop so low that I couldn’t even bother with thinking of pulling out my computer to do any writing.
It didn’t stop the ideas and plot bunnies from coming though. Damon is back to pouting in the corner, but I’ve been slowly working on a few of the TVD/Twilight crossovers. Unfortunately, because of the turn of some of the shows this season, inspiration has spurred my writing in different directions.
The Originals. Who has been following this season so far? I am so much in love with the idea of Freya so far that I cannot express how much I cannot wait to see her put her baby brothers in their place. Always and forever, I hope will include her and she reminds them of it. It’s obvious that Rebekah recalls something of her sister’s kidnapping by her aunt and feels a bond with her by her rescuing her from the asylum.
In any sense, I have a few ideas with Freya. But, in getting more into The Originals, I am currently rewatching Season 1 as I am writing a new story (blame the bunnies as I go where they lead me). Rewatching why? Because I need to reacquaint myself with the details for research because why?
For another new story of course! I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a million WIPs going at once! But I’m working on everything, I can assure you. It’s a slow progress for updates on the older stories, but they are coming. In fact, I received another PM from someone asking about when I’m updating a story and I haven’t replied yet as I’ve been focused on trying to write on three stories.
Something Bad is a The Originals/Twilight crossover story, Klaus/Bella story. She’s a little older and much more…what’s the word I’m looking for? Mischievous isn’t quite the term, but the best I can come with. She’s very much like Klaus in more ways than one, but she doesn’t share the same thirst for death and murder the way he does. But for anything else, you would have to follow the story. It is not on FanFiction.net yet. I’m not sure when I will add it there. Sooo if you want to read it, you will have to come to MeekoTales for now. Links to the story will be announced only on Facebook and in my blog here.
